Mölnlycke is a world-leading medical solutions company and their business is positioned across three main areas, Wound Management, Prevention and Surgical Solutions.

We were approached by Mölnlycke to pitch for work which was part of 2-year programme to bring the company closer to their customer base in the UK. We were delighted to be asked to support them in the following areas…

  • Key Opinion Leader programme
  • Organisation and delivery of a series of high-level Expert Panel meetings
  • Roadshows to support the launch of a new dressing, consisting of x16 events
  • Educational Programme branding

Having worked in the medical devices sector, managing national and international Key Opinion Leader programmes for some years (both in corporate life and as a consultancy) we had specific knowledge that helped us assist Mölnlycke to identify, categorise, build and manage relationships with Healthcare Professionals. Working together in a structured way and building mutually beneficial relationships with KOLs is invaluable for any healthcare company and has a positive impact on many different segments of the business including, new product development, marketing and sales and education. Mölnlycke were able to connect with both existing and up and coming KOLs and build sustainable relationships for the future.

Building on the KOL work we have helped Mölnlycke plan and execute a series of ‘Expert Panel’ meetings where HCP’s are invited to an advisory board type meeting with specific objectives and outputs. The meetings have proven to be highly successful and continue to be well attended, delivering tangible results for Mölnlycke.

Borderless worked with us in the branding of Mölnlycke’s whole educational programme to ensure that it stood out against their competitors whilst still making sure the tone, look and feel still sat comfortably within the existing corporate brand and so the Advantage brand was born! We developed both a look and feel and key messaging for the brand as well as a series of assets.

As we were not able to attend all of the roadshow events, we provided full logistical support, including full delegate management and introduced a “meeting in a box” concept which included all the assets required to run a successful meeting.
