The people of Beverley will be in for a sporting treat this weekend as the inaugural Tour de Yorkshire visits the town on Saturday lunchtime. The route is already covered in blue and yellow bunting, with decorated bike wheels fastened to shop fronts to show support to the riders.
The race will be passing on North Bar Within, which is set to be the central viewing hub for Beverley residents with a large screen TV showing live coverage and crowd entertainment in the build-up to the competitors passing through.
